Home is
something you
carry.
A clothing archive of Croatia, surveyed one city at a time. Each piece is a documented specimen: the country worn quiet at the chest, the city worn loud across the back.
Zagreb, documented.
Split, documented.
Heritage that doesn't shout.
No flags. No slogans. Lijepa naša documents the homeland the way a surveyor would: a coordinate, a street grid, the monument on the square, the year a city was founded. Quiet on the front, the whole city on the back.
Each volume opens a new coordinate — issued in two states and a numbered run of 100, printed on heavyweight garment-dyed cotton and shipped from the EU.
Vol.03 — Dubrovnik
Logged from everywhere.
Finally something that reps where I'm from without a flag on it. The reverse is the nicest print I own.
Bought the black state for my dad in Toronto and the white for me. It just feels like home.
Quiet front, whole city on the back. The coordinates start a conversation every time.
